General questions about cost and privacy, plus answers specific to each tool.

General

Is an account required?: No. There is no account, no login, and no daily limit on any tool. Everything is free to use.
Are my files or inputs uploaded, or saved anywhere?: No. Every tool processes locally in your browser. Nothing about your files or inputs is sent anywhere or saved. Downloads and copying a result are always free.
How is this free? What's the catch?: The site is supported by advertising. There is no paid plan, no subscription, and no account to upsell.

What can each mode do?: Compress and Resize adjust file size or dimensions with a quality slider; Convert changes between JPG, PNG and WebP; Combine to PDF merges several images into one PDF; Advanced convert also reads GIF (first frame), BMP, and SVG. Dimensions go up to 12,000px / 32 megapixels, and files up to 20 MB.
Why did my PDF not shrink?: Light optimizes PDF structure; Balanced and Maximum also recompress supported JPEG and PNG-style images. Savings depend on the document and some files will not shrink. The original is returned if there is no reduction. Re-saving can invalidate digital signatures.
Do these QR codes expire?: The generated QR code stores your text directly and has no expiry or tracking redirect. If it points to a website, that website must remain available.
What happens to invalid JSON or large integers?: Invalid JSON shows a syntax error and nothing else happens. Standard JavaScript parsing keeps the last duplicate key and may round integers above the safe integer range; quote large numeric identifiers.
How is percentage change calculated?: The difference is divided by the absolute original value and multiplied by 100. Percentage change from zero is undefined. Results are rounded to six decimal places.
Are generated passwords stored anywhere?: No. Passwords are generated locally using your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator and never leave your device or get logged.
What version of UUID is generated?: Version 4 (random) UUIDs, generated with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. Each one is effectively unique.
Which unit categories are supported?: Length, mass, volume, area, speed, temperature, and digital storage, covering metric, imperial, and other common units. More categories can be added over time.
Does this handle daylight saving time?: Conversions use the time zone rules available in your browser. Clock-change hours can be ambiguous or nonexistent, so verify those times separately when arranging an event.
How are months and years counted?: The tool uses calendar dates rather than fixed 30-day months. Adding months or years follows JavaScript date rollover, so an invalid day in the destination month can roll into the following month. Check month-end results.
Which colour formats are supported?: Enter HEX or RGB, or use the colour picker. The result includes HEX, RGB, HSL and HSB/HSV. HSL and HSV input are not supported.
Does this change the meaning of my text?: No. Only letter casing and word separators change; punctuation and word order are preserved. Some conversions (like camelCase) remove spaces.
Can I reuse the same list later?: The wheel only exists in this browser tab; your entries are not saved. Keep a copy of your list elsewhere if you want to reuse it in a future visit.
